Revolut will delist Tether's USDT by Aug. 31, automatically converting remaining holdings to users' base currency amid regulatory concerns.
Revolut, one of Europe's largest digital banking platforms, announced it will remove support for Tether's USDT stablecoin effective August 31, notifying affected customers directly of the upcoming change. The decision underscores a broader industry trend of fintech and crypto platforms proactively pruning asset offerings to stay ahead of regulators, rather than waiting for enforcement actions. Revolut has been aggressively pursuing banking licenses across multiple jurisdictions and may be positioning its crypto offerings to align with the strictest compliance standards it expects to face.
